I Wish I Knew The Magic Vulnerability Formula

I just want to know sooner than later if someone is capable of empathy and gentle love.

You couldn’t pay me to go back to school for anything at this point in life, but I would pay money for someone to breakdown how to show up with just enough of my heart at the beginning of a relationship.

I would subscribe to the person who could teach me what the right amount of me is ok to be, the percentage to start with, the formula for when and how much to increase my unmasking.

Be your full self, you say. But I am telling you that is not ideal. Because now there are more than a dozen men walking around with my phone number and intimate knowledge of things I feel most vulnerable about. Some more than others, sure. Most with something that feels like more than they were worth, more than they stuck around to earn.
