Hi there! Thank you for being here — for STILL being here. I am coming out of the fog of 18 incredibly hard months, and there’s so much I want to write about life and love and survival and standing up for myself. I’d say I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet, but many of you have told me to stop apologizing for that. So instead, again, thank you.
To get you up to speed, if you’re not already, I have a dog! And the kids are all great. And I moved into another rental house that has the most magical back deck, and such a lovely landlord. I worked for nearly a year at a dive bar and then made the heartbreaking decision to leave earlier this month when it became clear that new ownership was not going to be a good fit for my standards of how I’m treated, and the kind of place and treatment of others I represent.
I am working super hard on leaning back into my own endeavors, but in the meantime, the payments I’m getting from here are really helping me keep the lights on, quite literally. So I’m committed to also getting back to writing regularly — here and elsewhere.
If you are still on the fence about becoming a paid subscriber, I’m offering 20% off an annual membership. Meaning, you’ll pay $48 for 12 months of access to everything I write and share here. There’s already some great stuff in the archives, and I will be adding more to the paid side as soon as this week. You can also still subscribe monthly for only $6/month.
And if you ever wanted to pick my brain about business or branding, or to ask me questions about divorce or parenting, or really just about anything, you can book a 30 minute Zoom session with me for $50.

Thank you for all the ways you have supported me. I can’t wait to tell you some more great stories!
Here are some more pictures of Annie just because. And if you can’t get enough, she’s taken over my dog-stagram account.

Love hearing from you, whenever you have something to share! I also feel quite fancy-schmancy knowing that I’m supporting a great writer.
I've been following since both of our 16 year olds were just months old. (As I type that out I think, wow, what a long time to have a para social relationship with someone!) I've greatly appreciated your stories and your inspiration and your humanness over the years. Your journey has helped me through my journey. Wonder what the next 20 years hold!
