The RomCom Date Part 2

This is getting good now.

I’ve been on enough dates now to know with certainty that there are people whose energy aligns with mine and there are people that I don’t feel that way about. It’s nearly impossible to tell who will be who until I’m sitting in front of them, heart open, making eye contact, but I can tell pretty quickly after that.

The last time I was on a date in the city, the guy was giving “you chose poorly and wasted gas for THIS?!” vibes, and that is definitely a story to tell another time. The majority of my dates, however, haven’t been that awful. The majority have been a mostly ok way to spend a few hours getting to know another adult, but hardly what I’d call magic.

So, even though I did pack a bag, I kept my expectations low.
